Credit Union members are entitled to certain privileges not offered by other financial institutions. At Olin Community Credit Union you will receive the friendly service of a small town institution with the financial strength and services of a large financial institution. We believe in the philosophy of people helping people and offer our members higher interest on dividends and lower interest rates for borrowing money. Our goal is to be the primary financial institution for all our members and their families.

As an Olin Community Credit Union member, you are a shareholder of the credit union and have a voice in how the credit union is governed. This primary advantage to credit union membership is just the beginning. In addition, Olin Community Credit Union offers a host of services to help you simplify the management of your finances.

You Can Join!!

Olin Community Credit Union is open for membership to anyone who lives, works, or maintains an address in any of the following counties in Illinois: Madison, Macoupin, Montgomery, Bond, Fayette, Jersey, Greene and Calhoun. While our main sponsor is Olin Corporation, we serve the financial needs of employees of approximately 60 other select employee groups as well. For a listing of those employers, click here. Once you are a member, your family members become eligible for membership. Family members are defined as any relation by blood, marriage or adoption.

Once a Member, Always a Member

Membership begins when you open a Primary Savings Account with a minimum deposit of $5.00 and a .25 cent membership fee. As long as you keep this account open, you are a member for life.

Olin Community Credit Union collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms,
- Information about your transactions with us,
- Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties,
- Information from a consumer reporting agency.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements.

We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law.

If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive member, we will follow the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents
