Olin Community Credit Union was established
in 1934 with the sole purpose of providing financial products and
services for employees of Olin Corporation and their family members.
While Olin Corporation continues to be our main sponsor, we serve
the financial needs of approximately 60 other select employee groups.
In addition, our community charter allows us to open our membership
to anyone who lives, works or maintains an address in one of eight
Illinois counties: Madison, Macoupin, Montgomery, Bond, Fayette,
Jersey, Greene and Calhoun.
At Olin Community Credit Union, our members are entitled to certain
privileges not offered by other financial institutions. We provide
the friendly service of a small town institution with the financial
strength and services of a large financial institution. We believe
in the philosophy of people helping people and offer our members
higher interest on dividends and lower interest rates for borrowing
money.
That is how we have become the 5th largest credit union in the St.
Louis metro area – by knowing and meeting the financial needs
of more than 44,000 members, by maintaining more than 70 years of
long-term financial soundness and by being a preeminent service
provider.
